Delete your Music Road Trip account
You can permanently delete your Music Road Trip account and its associated data from inside the Music Road Trip app or by contacting us through this page.
Delete your account in the app
Open Music Road Trip and sign in.
Open your profile and select Settings.
Select Account.
Select Delete account.
Verify using the sign-in method associated with your account.
Enter the requested confirmation and submit the deletion request.
Request deletion without the app
Email hello@musicroadtrip.com with the subject “Music Road Trip account deletion request.”
Include your username or account email address and whether you signed in using Apple, Google, or email. We will verify that you own the account before processing the request.
Never send us your password, authentication code, recovery code, Apple credential, or Google credential.
What happens after your request
Your active sessions are revoked immediately, you are signed out, and your account and public profile become unavailable.
Your account then enters a 30-day recovery period. During this period, you can sign in and follow the Restore account instructions to cancel deletion.
After the recovery period ends, final deletion begins automatically.
Data affected by deletion
Account deletion removes or anonymizes data associated with your account, including:
Account identity and profile information
Interests, preferences, saved items, lists, and viewing history
Private routes and active sharing links
Follows, notification settings, and device registrations
Uploaded profile and user media
Private and social activity associated with your identity
Information previously shared with other users may be replaced with a deleted-account label or anonymized where necessary to preserve conversation or community continuity.
Limited records may be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, abuse reports, or unresolved safety investigations. Retained records are access-restricted and are not used for marketing or personalization.
